A message from our president
Dear Students:
I would like to welcome you to the College of the Rockies on behalf of myself and the rest of the Students’ Association.
You are about to embark on the very difficult task of post secondary education; for some this may have been an especially tough decision with the need to move away from home, although whatever your decision was, take solace in the fact that this institution is committed to providing the best possible education for you. This is done through small class sizes and extremely skilled professors and instructors, whom you can feel free to talk to any time you need.
If you are feeling the strain of the economy as many of us are right now please talk with the Student Services and Financial Aid departments for any available financial aid or possible bursaries and scholarships. For those interested check into the International Department for opportunities to study and work around the world. The Students’ Association, Recreation Department and the Residence look forward to providing sports, and other great activities.
Don’t forget to visit us the Students’ Association for anything you need we will attempt to fulfill any requests or queries you may have. We are located downstairs, down the hall from the bookstore. We want you to make the most of the time you spend here.
New and returning students alike, I believe you have made an excellent choice to join us. We look forward to forging ahead through this journey with you and having a terrific time while doing so.
I wish you a successful academic year here, as well as all to come.
Sincerely,
Neal Jackett
President
